Christopher Breen was a writer and editor whose professional career had been spent covering Apple Inc.'s Apple Macintosh computers and related technologies for such publications as MacUser, MacWeek, and Macworld. In addition to his technology career, Breen is also a musician who has performed professionally for two decades. He was a senior editor at Mac Publishing, a division of International Data Group which publishes the US edition of ''Macworld''. His "Mac 911" column appeared monthly in that magazine and online. He also hosted the Macworld Podcast with Susie Ochs (previously Serenity Caldwell) until February 2015.. Before working at ''Macworld'', Breen was contributing editor and Help Desk columnist for the US edition of ''MacUser'' magazine. Breen is the author of several books, including ''Secrets of the iPod'', ''The iPod and iTunes Pocket Guide'', ''Mac 911'', and ''My iMac''. He has created a variety of video training courses for Lynda.com, including Mac OS X Leopard Essential Training, Screencasting for the Mac, iPad Tips and Tricks, and Lion Essential Training.
